Round Rock Youth Lacrosse Programs

RATTLERS SPRING LACROSSE LEAGUE

Spring is the official season of the lacrosse year.   REGISTER FOR SPRING 2022

Divisions/Teams

Teams are formed on 4 levels based on current grade: 

Bantam K-2nd

  • 4v4 games (players are not restricted to positions)
  • minimum 5 players per team
  • no goalie
  • quarter field

Lightning: 3rd-4th

  • 7v7 games (2 defense, 2 mid field, 2 attack, 1 goalie)
  • minimum 10 players per team
  • goalie required
  • half field

Juniors: 5th-6th

  • 10v10 games (3 defense, 3 mid field, 3 attack, 1 goalie)
  • minimum 14 players
  • goalie required
  • full field

Seniors: 7th-8th

  • 10v10 games (3 defense, 3 mid field, 3 attack, 1 goalie)
  • 14 players minimum
  • goalie required
  • full field

Practices

Practices are run as teams and include drills to build individual stick/ball handling skills as well as offensive & defensive team play drills.  Scrimmages will also be included.

Gear

Full lacrosse gear (including cup, mouth guard and cleats) is required at every practice unless otherwise specified by the team's coach.

Games

We play under the umbrella of the Central Texas Youth Lacrosse Association (CTYLA).  

  • Each team level is guaranteed 8 season games.
  • Games are local and generally do not require travel beyond South Austin.
  • Rattler Home games are held on Round Rock Multipurpose Complex fields.

UNIFORMS

  • Uniforms consist of shorts, shooter shirt (tshirt), and pinnie (outer jersey).  
  • Uniforms are included with your season registration fees.

No Player Left Behind

If lacrosse is what your kid wants to do then we want to help you.  If the price tag is what's holding you back, then please contact us to discuss possible financial assistance.  From payment plans to scholarship assistance, we will do what we can to help you get your child on the field.  We don't ever want a kid to not be able to play because they couldn't afford it financially.
