Program Director and Head Coach, Michael Hazy, first played lacrosse as a HS freshman in Bridgewater, NJ for Chuck Apel (ranked top-20 nationally in career wins). He played Division I lacrosse at Lehigh and continued playing club lacrosse for many years after. He is the Performance Coach and Head JV Coach at Hyde Park HS, winners of the 2023 Class D Texas state championship (program's 3rd season). Coach Hazy runs Phantom Lacrosse and the nonprofit Stickwerks Lacrosse, both companies focusing on helping players unlock the best part of lacrosse that 99% of players never experience. He is a member of the Ethics Commission at World Lacrosse, the international governing body of the sport, and was a founding trustee at The Lacrosse Foundation, a charity supporting lacrosse in Great Britain. He's also the proud dad of a player on the Lightning team. Recently, Coach Hazy strung 115 new heads to celebrate lacrosse's return to the Olympics after 115 years and gave them all away to youth lacrosse teams in Texas.

Assistant Coach Chad Ronk is a Stony Point lacrosse alumnus and played Division III lacrosse at Aurora University.
