Seniors 7/8
The Seniors team is comprised of a mix of 7th & 8th graders. This level continues with the larger 10v10* game format (3 Attack, 3 Midi, 3 Defense & 1 Goalie). The detailed rules of the game at this level now closely resemble high school play.
*Some games may still be played in a 7v7 format when a team does not have enough players to field 10.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if my player can't make all of the practices?
We strongly encourage players to make all practices and to take practice seriously. This is a team sport and practice with the team is important. However, we understand that an occasional absence cannot be avoided. Parents should inform the coach of a player's impending absence through the team app. Excessive absences may reduce player participation time in games at our older team levels.
Practices start early - what if I can't get there exactly on time?
Please bring your player to practice, even if you will be late. 30 minutes of practice is better than none at all.
There are several youth lacrosse clubs. How do I know if my player should be a Rattler?
Currently, during the regular season the Round Rock Rattlers are the designated youth program for students in the feeder patterns to attend Round Rock High School, Stony Point High School, Cedar Ridge High School, Hutto High School, and any Pflugerville ISD high school. If your player is home schooled or attends a private or charter school without its own high school lacrosse program, your address will determine what public high school you are zoned for. If you have any questions about playing for the Rattlers, please contact us and we'll help you figure it out.
My daughter would like to play lacrosse, do the Rattlers have a girls team?
The Rattlers do not currently have a girls team however several girls have opted to play for the Rattlers in the past. Girls who play for the Rattlers play boys lacrosse with boys equipment. If your daughter would rather play for a girls team, please contact us and we'll put you in touch with the girls teams we know.
My son is an 8th grader and has never played before. Is it too late for him to start?
It is never too late to start playing lacrosse. Every season we have new players at every level. Our coaches will see to it that he gets the instruction he needs to develop his skills and confidence on the field.
